Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner:  March 30, June 29, august 31, November 16

Church at the Y:  July 13

New Member Dinners:  March 9, October 5

Sunday Night @ the Building:  TBA

 

Here is a brief description of these programs.

 

New Member Orientation - We invite our new families and assign them a host family.  We have a dinner, introduce them to the ministry opportunities at HH, and then the host family introduces them to everyone there.

 

Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner - We ask 15 - 20 families to be hosts.  Based on house size, children, etc. we assign folks to come eat dinner at their house.  The catch is the host does not know who is coming, nor do any of the guests know who the other guests are.  We will do this four times each year.

 

Sunday Night @ the Building - This would be an old-fashion Sunday night with a praise time and short devotion.  We could pull out the song books and give opportunity to those who would like to lead a song a chance to do that.  Could be connected to an old fashion ice cream social.

 

Church @ the Y - One time each summer we meet at the Prattville YMCA for a devotional and a time of fellowship.
