TORNADO RELIEF EFFORTS
On Sunday, February 17, 2008 a tornado struck Prattville, Alabama leaving hundreds of families with damaged homes. Praise God that at the time of this writing there were no fatalities. The tornado passed literally a few feet from the Hunter Hills church building and yet no minor damage was sustained. Several of the families and friends of Hunter Hills were directly impacted by this storm.
Disaster Relief, a church of Christ organization from Nashville, TN sent a trailer full of relief supplies for distribution in the community. The Hunter Hills family helped to receive these supplies and re-distribute them. They were delivered to the YMCA on McQueen Smith Road. The images below are of these supplies being unloaded.
