Our Education Ministry provides classes for all ages, from cradle roll, through adult. 

The mission of the education ministry is to provide a Bible based educational environment which leads people into a greater knowledge of and a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Sunday Morning

Room 117
            Daryl Greer:  I Timothy—Textual study on the book of I Timothy “how things ought to go in god’s household.”

Room 118
            Hunter Hills Biographies of various members.  Have you ever thought you were the only one who has faced a thing, so no one would understand, and you dare not talk to another Christian about your problem?  Satan wins many victories in our lives when he isolates us from the reality of each other’s struggles and victories.  Come hear other members share their faith journeys, and how God has set them free and worked his power in them. 

Room 120
            Jason Green:  “Finding Faith” - ”—(based on Brian McLaren’s book  Finding Faith)  This class is for those who are seeking a fresh meaning for faith and are seeking a deeper, richer life with and in God.  We will explore the nature and role of faith in our lives and how faith responds in various situations.  We will discuss matters such as “imaging” God, God’s “will”, co-creating the future, and how faith shapes the way we make decisions.  This class will be practical in application and will provide a larger theological foundation on which to build for sorting through some of life’s tougher questions—that may or may not have satisfying answers.

            Don Carter:  Gospel of Johna textual study focusing on Jesus—the Word of God, the Son of Man, the I AM. 

 

Room 118
            Mac Adkins: “Living World Religions”This course is an engaging overview of several major world religions.  The course will consist of an introductory lesson, six video sessions about six different world religions, and six sessions during which a resource person representing a world religion will speak concerning their religious heritage.  During the course we will learn about the following religious world views:  Bahai, Buddhist, Catholicism, Hindu, Jewish, Mormon, and Muslim.
